Lavender Hydrosol

Hydrosols are nutrient-rich steam distillate of organic product. They are not as potent as essential oils but still have wonderful uses and benefits.

The lavender hydrosol, is from the lavender plant of the French countryside, Lavandula angustifolia (the main one for lavender essential oil). Lavender is known to have anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and analgesic properties, making it especially beneficial to use on cuts, scrapes, burns, and other similar types of wounds. It also acts as a humectant and also helps to balance the skin. It can be used for all skin types and is really helpful in supporting healthy skin. Lavender water is perfect for spraying directly on the skin to help soothe and heal all sorts of skin ailments. You can also add it to your bath water for a added scent for relaxation, spray it on your pillow, or mist your feet.

Hydrosols come in an amber glass spray bottle but for the best use and duration of product, store your hydrosol in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. *Some organic plant material may be seen after the fluid in the bottle settles.

I like to use a hydrosol by spraying it on my face and neck prior to apply my whipped healing tallow butter. The tallow locks in all the beautiful benefits of the hydrosol.
