Cucumber Hydrosol

Hydrosols are nutrient-rich steam distillate of organic product. They are not as potent as essential oils but still have wonderful uses and benefits.

These crisp fruits are 97% water, which makes them ideal plants for hydrosol distillation. Cucumber Hydrosol possesses the unmistakable aroma of freshly cut cucumbers: light, yet refreshing, cooling and rejuvenating. Cucumber hydrosol is excellent for skin softening and toning, so a perfect use would be to use as a make-up remover or toner. It is also beneficial to burnt skin due to it's high water and moisturization capabilities. You can also mix cucumber hydrosol with other other hydrosols for added scent or skin benefits (cucumber melon, anyone?).

Hydrosols come in an amber glass spray bottle but for the best use and duration of product, store your hydrosol in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.

I like to use a hydrosol by spraying it on my face and neck prior to apply my whipped healing tallow butter. The tallow locks in all the beautiful benefits of the hydrosol.
